I've only got two hands... That's a phrase we can all relate to when the work at hand seems overwhelming. Even today, over 30,000 children under age 5 still die every day due to vaccine-preventable diseases and malnutrition. 30,000. An overwhelming number. But we've learned not to think in terms of what we can't do, but what we can. In our neighborhoods, 500 children have breakfast and go to school every morning, and that means something to those children and to us. Things we can do. And you can help.
Children of the Americas is made up mostly of volunteers, and is actively involved in projects requiring many items that you may be able to help provide. See the Programs page for more details on specific needs and strategies.
Your physical location will determine, to a certain extent, the ways in which you choose to work with us, but if you have a desire, contact us. There are many creative ways to help. And from anywhere in the U.S., please consider making a 12-month pledge of a monthy cash gift of any amount for food, gathering school supplies for the fall, or toys at Christmas. It all adds up!
